I always believed that Macro is of a very complicated nature, lighting, subject details, separation of back ground, colors, all of those elements need a great skill and attention to master, here you managed to switch your regular wild life capturing of Cats into this field of Macro with a brave talent and superb ending.

I am also so happy that finally I could stick the 7's for you and on a very amazing and very well exposed, composed and presented photograph.

I do not agree with Atanu Ghosh at all of having the flower in sharper focus as that would create very busy atmosphere where such macro do not need, you are on the path of a Pro.

You been so gentle and kind to me, given me all of the engorgements I would ever dream off, thank you and wishing you all of the best

Hi Sarah,

This is a very beautiful macro. I love the texture on the bee and the background color as well. Thank you for sharing with us.

Unbelievable beast, never seen it before, it isn't a bee and his beak looks like a Sesame street muppet's one! Anyway, congrats for this shot!

Excellent macro. Only suggestion - I would have preferred a slightly more DOF to get more of the flower in focus (though it might resulted in a busier background) or, alternatively, cropped tighter on the "beast" and shown less of the flower

Excellent Macro Sarah! I don't think I have ever seen a bug with eyes like that

or a mouth (beak) lol. It is certainly a interesting shot with color and detail.

Thank you for your comment and dropping by... Regards Andrea

Love this shot. The detail on the little monster is great. I like that long diagonal stem, which enlivens the shot even more!
