iancoxleigh 0 Posted May 24, 2007 I would like to hear your thoughts on this photo. This was taken in the late afternoon at the Don Valley Brockwirks in Toronto, Canada. The only 'manipulation' has been some levels work and white-balancing. While quite pretty this goldfish are an environmental problem. The ponds in the brickworks are part of the Don watershed and these fish certainly are not native to the habitat. There are also a pair of red-eared sliders enjoying the ponds. Link to comment
hugh_hill 0 Posted May 24, 2007 I for one like it, I may if it were mine work on it a bit more and perhaps turn it into a painting if not a fine art print bringing out all the colours. there is a nice balance to this and the colours land exactly were they should. Hugh Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 27, 2007 Ian, very lush and rich. Nice interplay between the surface and what's beneath. Beautiful blue that gives a warm feel, especially as accented by the reds in the leaves and fishies. --Fred Link to comment
yves_p 0 Posted June 21, 2007 Wonderful picture. I like the contrasts between the complementary red and green colors and the progressive evolution of the palette of blues from top to bottom emphasized by the two red goldfishes in the front. Very good composition. Congratulations. Yves P. Link to comment
