kevin teachey 0 Posted May 22, 2007 Awesome. Wish it had a bluer sky though. Was it overcast? Link to comment
sacredskin 1 Posted May 24, 2007 Hi Kevin!..Yea there was a storm right before this, and actually on one side of the horizon, there was the most beautiful blue sky..and one side was overcast..Of course, this shot that I wanted was under the gray side. Although I will say, I have had somewhat of a hard time getting the sky to look as blue as it truly is from my viewpoint..Could it be a white balance error?..Any suggestions? Thank You! kevin teachey 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Skies are a pain. Try this. Meter for the sky itself. Then shoot the whole scene the way you want it. The forground will probably be underexposed. Gradually drop your shutterspeed as you shoot frames until the foreground is exposed reasonably well. The sky should look about as good as you can get it. Then cheat like hell in photoshop. Cheerio pip pip and all that. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 4 Posted March 15, 2008 Beautiful "after the rain" light and lovely landscape perspective and variety of greens. For me it works best with the sky cropped (as I saw it scrolling up) which also avoids the problem of the yellow colour. Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
