I agree that a touch of light on the face would be great, but still it's a fine and very worthy portrait because of the strong expression, the wave of her hand, and the wonderful detail you've captured in a sweet and aging face.

Wonderful portrait...apart from the light on the face, I think the focus coud have been sharper on the face rather than the scarf on the head...but great portrait anyway...

Soulful portrait of a beautiful woman. I agree with the other commenter that more emphasis should be placed on the face. I think you can achieve this with some contrast adjustment on pshop. Maybe, convert to b/w.
