Great composition, of a big impact. Is it a night shot?

I love the shot, very pleasing and majestic. I would have removed the plane just visible between the moon and the rock face as it doesn't add anything for me.

Thanks, Darius, it was a afternoon shot. The air was so clear that the dark blue sky appears very dark on B/W negative.
