Ducks in a row

I would like to know what you think about these ducks? Also

checkout the rest of my photos if you have time.

Although it's probably obvious that two things would improve it:

- all the ducks heads

- a properly aligned horizon

Less obvious might be a slight change in exposure; it seems a bit over-exposed in parts (but maybe there was too much contrast?)

 

Reminds me of where I live; I'm surrounded by ducks & geese all the time. (Yes, it's true; I'm a turtle and I live in a pond.)

The contrast was very extreme, if I used my nd filter I would not have been able to take these by hand. I beleive the shutter speed for this shot was around 1/180-1/125. As far as the pose to me, I like the way that one is acting alone from the rest.
