This is a great shot! Unfortunately, my own bird shots were made after sunset when I was returning from the coast, and I had to settle for what I could get.

 

I'll be trying to emulate this one next time I go!

Perfect exposure. Composition isn't outstanding but those clouds limit you cropping possibilities, so I guess this is the best you could've pulled of this.
