heider 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Amazing terrestrial scene. Well I don?t know why, but may be because of the color scheme and the formations and shapes it remind me with cosmological photos, expanding universe and Hawking?s Theories. Great color scheme and tonal values, perfect angle, sensitive reflections, usually seascapes tastes salty, this more does not. Great work. All the best Link to comment
pmorgan 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Reminds me of "Pools of Radiance" one of your images that first got me interested in photography, very well done and thank you! Rgds Paul Link to comment

Fishermang 0 Posted May 16, 2007 Fantastic!! Everything is more or less perfect here, I don't even know what to say... Great sky, great foreground, great reflections, great distant mountains, great atmosphere, everything's great!! :D Link to comment
erikbetti 0 Posted May 16, 2007 Wow. Just wow. The thing that really drew me into this image is how wonderfully you've established so much depth. The small rock in the foreground draws you to the large area behind it on the upper-middle left, and even behind that, you're drawn to the left to the even-farther back (really cool) rock formations, which in turns draws you right back to the spectacular sunset and clouds you've captured. The image as a whole is perfectly exposed - i don't mind at all that the detail of the rock outcroppings isn't visible, i think it brings the focus of the image exactly where you want it. Well done! ian cameron 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Good to see you back Adam and I see you visited some of my favourite haunts too. Great shot to introduce us to your travels in NZ. Just do a quick check on your horizon it gives the impression of being very slightly tilted. Link to comment
michaelsaird 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Lovely shot. There's very little light in the foregound but it seems to work as it leads the eye to the flash of light in the centre/top of the scene. Very dramatic. Link to comment

ben heaven 0 Posted May 30, 2007 Beautiful work Adam, really inspirational. I love the way you have captured some movement in the clouds, and those colours are fantastic. The forground rock pool works well, drawing the eye toward the rock arch. Just brilliant. cheers, Ben Link to comment
chip phillips 0 Posted February 11, 2009 Fantastic seascape just dripping with mood. I can't see how this could bring in anything but 7's?? Link to comment
