explosion

I'm unhappy with the cropping of the photo, it needs more space on the top but that's all I have in the photo. Any ideas how to make it more balanced and not as busy?

 

Also, the colors are much duller the I would like. I'm ussualy happy with the Fuji but here it looks washed out. Any comments? Suggestions?

I like how the motion is still implyed even though everything is almost frozen. Also, to increase the saturation (of a scanned image) you can increase the saturation in a program like photoshop.

Having the plane up there is really fake, so much that it detracts from the image. The original image is probably a lot better. The colors are a little on the dull side but thats not a big deal.
