mars790 1 Posted May 14, 2007 Matthew, you take me too seriously. didn't you see my wink ;) in the above comment? tongue in cheek? i'm aware that you didn't take a pic of a painting and i was admiring your technique. anyway, why you chose to use my portfolio as the place to reply is confusing. would appreciate it if you would delete that comment and post it here. meant no harm. mattloeber 0 Posted May 14, 2007 Ric no harm taken and none back at you. I have to be honest with you at the risk of sounding stupid and ancient. I am 39 years old an just got hooked up on the net 2 months ago so I had no idea about the wink symbol or what that was so I thought you thought I did it on the computer, seriously don't laugh cause it's true. I'm a virgin to photo.net also so your portfolio was where I thought you respond to critiques. No offense meant brother! I hope you don't feel as if I was angry with you cause I wasn't and i'm not. I love and respect the critique forum so please continue to view photos and I will check out your portfolio so I can respond onto your Gallery in the correct context, I look forward to it! Yours Truly, Matthew. PS can you tell me how to make that wink symbol. Link to comment
mars790 1 Posted May 14, 2007 welcome to PN Matthew. no prob. just get ready to have a loose skin here as the society can be both gratifying and nonsensical. a sense of humor never hurts. your work is very good and your subjects fit your medium well. the wink is just the colon key (lower case), and the closed parenthesis (shift zero) TTYL- Ric Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 19, 2007 I know the scan took some of the detail out of this but frankly it also made it softer. It is one of my favorite. Link to comment
