John Peri 1,032 Posted May 14, 2007 Ah .. the sailor and the long distance voyage. It's the story of our lives .. and who we leave behind at each step of course .. Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted May 14, 2007 illuminates with forlorn and yearning because of separation in just one photo. I like the transparency in the layers that put the whole story all together. It seems to me that life consists of "layers of emotions" in any way. Warm regards, tanya. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted May 14, 2007 Oh, let's see. She loves him, he loves his boat, and some poor sap in the village loves her and lavishes her with attention as she pines away, waiting for the boat that will never come in again. Geez, I'm ruining things, am I not? Link to comment
aeg 0 Posted May 14, 2007 The story is touching and timeless. The love of a man and woman tender and giving balanced against the cruelty and loneliness of the sea. Wonderful tones and color for added mood and context. Regards My Friend Link to comment
mmene 0 Posted May 14, 2007 Dear Emmanuele you don't ruin anything you just made a scenario but if you study this photo more you may find more scenarios. To help you . 1 ) Who told you that the boat is leaving and not coming ? 2) He may be don't in love with her but prefers to sail away. 3) She doesn't love him but the boat or the sailing experience. 4) She is leaving him, not he. 5) They are both leaving in separate routes etc. The only sure is that the color of the sea remains blue, he is a sailor and she is a young pretty girl. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
