sashanp 0 Posted May 14, 2007 First of all, I imagine this is a one light shot, presumably a camera mounted flash, her catchlights are dead center on her pupils, what you can do, is bounce the flash 45 deg off of an adjacent wall to create some shadows. Also, she looks quite flat, either a hairlight or background light would kick her off of the background and give her a more 3 dimensional look. if she were wearing alll black, this shot would really pop. A slight turn of her head just until her far ear disappears would give you some nice shadow which would also add 3 dimensionality. Cute girl- I look forward to seeing you progress. This forum is excellent for learning, I have learned much and continue to learn everyday. My opinion is not worth that much so take it with a grain of salt. Link to comment
sashanp 0 Posted May 14, 2007 BTW I saw your natural light shots and they are simply amazing. I have more difficulty controlling natural light than studio light. Link to comment
