Hummingbird

This is the same bird as in another photo of mine but the sun is

making the throat red instead of the golden color of the other

photo.

Most excellent! I know from many hours of standing real still how difficult these little buggers can be to photograph. It's also tough to get the red throat of the Ruby Throat to stand out but you have done a great job.

Not only did you get the red throat but you also got a catchlight in the eye. That little detail can make or break a picture of these guys.

I agree. You caught the right bird!!! Any other color apart from red wld have made this less of a pic. Red, white and green makes a very attractive combination, at least to me.
