The Idea behind Driving Dimension. Casual Shots: A CS.

To make a CS demands that you have no or less influence on how/when/what/where, the matter

you will try to capture. To reduce your own aesthetic angel/view, to attempt

to make an "objective shot" as far as possible.

After I have got the idea, I decided to make the "Driving Dimension" serie, on the first comming sunny day, driving the same road both ways.

Within one hour I took about 100 shots. The camera put on automatic focus/time/landscape. Obtained the casual moment, by taking all cars passing on left side. I did not look left

while taking the shot, actually I was driving, looking foreward.

It succeded to capture about 30 cars plus

road/houses/trees/flowers/nature. You have seen and rated 26 of them. All of them have the same PS contrast/sharp. By casual method 11 were crop, only 21A

was both crop/manip. The ratings average for crop: A 3,59 / O 3,67 and for no crop A 3,70 / O 3,69. The matter of fact, the crop is my only aesthetic view/influence,,,or lack of !

These Casual Shots,,, taking in the only "objective" possible way to escape/avoid our own aesthetic views, blowing to and fro, as time goes by,,,,,,, try to tell us an occasional story of man driving in a selfmade culture landscape, except for some surving trees, flowers,

sea, sky,,,on the 25th April 2007.

And obviously, you are not so fun of your own world, naked by casual shots,,or what ?

"Nature is always beautiful" and man is a part of

that,,,,love it or not,,, with or without the aesthetic. Most of the beauty, we cannot recreate

either in photo nor paint, because the beauty cannot be told less than nature does, real time, one to one,,,,,worse how ever, our own cognitive limitation,,,,short of time and scared by meaning.
