Running on Air

My nephew ask me to take some pictures of him playing ball. It's

been years since I shot any sports pics. But in all honesty, I feel

pretty good about this.

A tighter crop would be nice, and a wider aperture to isolate him from the background. You captured the moment well.

Joey M...thanks for the comment. I'm still learning the aperture thing. It was so bright that day I shot it at 4.5 at 125 when I believe I should have went to 500 or 1000 shutter speed and shot around 16. I think.

Thomas, if the shutter speed was 125 at f4.5, then at f16 the shutter speed would have been around 1/8th of a second, which would have given much more blur. To get a faster shutter speed, you'll need to widen the aperture (smaller number, bigger opening), or use a faster film.
