johannes_eriksson 0 Posted May 6, 2007 Please do view large. Photo taken in the Advent valley on Svalbard, looking west from apoint about 40 kilometers to the east of the main settlementLongyearbyen. In this wilderness, when the snowmobile engines areturned off, the arctic silence engulfs us and the grandeur of natureand our own delicate position therein becomes strangely clear. Thisexperience cannot be captured on film or CCD. Link to comment

fergi 0 Posted May 8, 2007 I cannot possibly exceed your own comments, so I will not attempt. However, I am quite pleased with the depth of the panorama viewed here. The blues are incredible and the clouds hazy and true. I envy the silence you heard. Superbly done. Thank you for sharing. fergi Link to comment
