Photo taken in the Advent valley on Svalbard, looking west from a

point about 40 kilometers to the east of the main settlement

Longyearbyen. In this wilderness, when the snowmobile engines are

turned off, the arctic silence engulfs us and the grandeur of nature

and our own delicate position therein becomes strangely clear. This

experience cannot be captured on film or CCD.

I cannot possibly exceed your own comments, so I will not attempt. However, I am quite pleased with the depth of the panorama viewed here. The blues are incredible and the clouds hazy and true. I envy the silence you heard. Superbly done. Thank you for sharing.
