Early morning! On the landscapes it is very often impossible to say is it morning or sunset! I first wrote early morning and then I saw the caption, conclusion of that all - very original, ha!

This was taken during one of the most picturesque autumns I can remember. In Edmonton, we don't have maple trees to give us red leaves, so our leaves turn yellow then fall off. Unfortunately, in most autumns, the leaves turn light yellow, then are blown off by bad weather. In 2003, when this photo was taken, we had weeks of good weather in the fall and the leaves changed from light yellow to a deeper orange-yellow, something we rarely see in Edmonton.
