tacocharly 0 Posted April 13, 2001 this is the best photo of bryce that i have ever seen, as good as one in national geographic that was a three page fold-out panorama Link to comment
bruce wilson 0 Posted April 19, 2001 This is a great shot. I really like the way the snow reveals the profile and striations of the rock. There is a little imbalance in the composition, but getting it right is tricky from the rim of a basin. Link to comment
yui_cheng 0 Posted April 29, 2001 Can you elaborate the type of filter combination for us? Did you modify the color toning and density? Link to comment
jason anders 0 Posted June 27, 2001 I do not believe that colors on the web version of this image is what is really on your slide. Seems like colors were modified. THis is my opinion, it just does not look real. Link to comment
stephen_bishop 0 Posted July 13, 2001 There is no focus point in this photo, the eye just keeps on searching. Link to comment

philg 0 Posted August 4, 2001 You need a foreground! This picture is all background. A really good landscape will have a foregrouund subject (think "tree"), a middle ground (think "hoodoo" (this is Bryce after all)), and a background (think "rest of canyon"). Link to comment
bruce_olsen1 0 Posted August 10, 2001 I love the light and the color. Finally, a different vision of a beautiful place. Link to comment
sphoto 0 Posted October 24, 2002 I agree with the rules of a good landscape, BUT the rules dont always apply! Sometimes the nature of a scene necesitates simpy capturing the expansive beauty! This picture is a good example of that. If it were me, I would have taken another picture to the right of this one and pieced them together in Photoshop, making it a panorama... Link to comment
