Guest Guest Posted May 3, 2007 This struck my eye. It has a nice feel to it. Very contemporary and works really well in black and white. Well handled. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted May 3, 2007 The symbolism is expertly applied and used in this seminal theme. Great job. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 3, 2007 A strong picture with its oblique angles and rays of light. Those with a sense of imagination will appreciate it; the rest will sharpen their 3's. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 4, 2007 Thank you everyone. This photo looks accidental, but was actually carefully constructed out of several overlayed photos. Truly experimental, I wasn't sure whether anyone would find it anywhere near as interesting as I. For the most part, I was right that it wasn't a huge success, but thanks for nice comments. I should have titled it "Life is an experiment." Jack, I am particularly appreciative of your thoughtful comment. Link to comment
andreas tsonides 0 Posted May 5, 2007 Well done Jeff. A trully original idea and well executed. The one I like best and I think the most creative for the series so far. I'd like to see more of these. Link to comment
alibek 0 Posted July 30, 2007 Only on the edge of the grave can man conclude anything. Henry B. Adams We're seeking style. We're seeking the images bounding the edge of the originality of our understanding. I feel I almost get it. Go just a bit too much...and it gets vague even for the author. I love the abstract, and some of the images I make in a freelance PS work...hit this bound too far sometimes. Please visit an attachement. You're really a talented artist, as you can sense an ephemeric edge, making us laugh and cry invariably. Style, with its impact, is singing along with the title you've picked, inspired. Reference quality. Very well done. 7/7. Alibek Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 30, 2007 Well...I'm glad you found this one. One of my favorites, but not a favorite of the crowd. I was surprised by how "all over the map" the ratings were "3's" and "7's." I think it's always hard to take risks, not only with photos but with life in general. Most artists play it safe to maintain popularity and praise. I probably do much of the time, I hate to admit. Your attachment was interesting. Very creative. It had the color scheme and treatment of the Matrix with the images floating down in cyber-green. Your comment reminds me to move on over to your site. You have three images that I want to comment on. Link to comment

I probably do much of the time, I had to admit. I was glad to hear it. Estimating due to your latest works, I see how much you've done in this manner. Some work, some aren't understood, some are just ain't hitting the target... but it is worth it. Yep, after my second take on this, I see the two (at least, two), layers you used in order of getting the above. Little pieces of grass remind me of some flying insects...adding to the mystery we sure build up in our own way. Thank you. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I like this one a lot. As Jack and yourself humourously stated: food for 3s for some, 7s for others... Link to comment
