Technically speaking this shot is excellent, but lipstick and makeup on a child this young looks strange to me. It takes away the feeling of innocence from the picture.

So very cute, i love it. well done.

Tamara, I am a fan of your images because they always have a feeling of intimacy that draws the veiwer into a kind of familiarity with the subjects you photograph. This image, though technically excellent, doesn't have that feel. So for me it is a bit of a departure from your style. It is technically very good and I would have been proud to have taken it. But it doesn't quite draw me into the intimate feeling I have with most of your images. Standing alone though it's very good. Bill

There is no make up. Her lips are very red...and I even try to take some color of her lips cause there are too red.. but there was no makeup on her.

she's not wearing makeup.... as per earlier comment...(no duck soup for you - one year!) Tamara, this is a lovely photo in my opinion. It looks to me as though she is ready cry - she looks distressed. I hope that is not so!
