rowellphoto 0 Posted May 20, 2002 It is odd to see the visual difference with and without the frame added to a b&w photo. In most cases i would say it adds alot of depth. Is this the silo you spoke of? I am very interested. I love the time lapse of downtown. great work, were going to have to get out soon. Link to comment

geary_ritter 0 Posted May 21, 2002 I usually love this type of picture, but there were two things that really distracted my attention. First, the uneven sky...probably due to uneven development. Really distracting since a clear sky such as this should very evenly toned. The second thing is all of the dust specks visible when you view the picture in either medium or large format. Photo-editing software is readly available. You can always download a free one like GIMP. If you are going to post pictures to the public, you really should clean them up. Sorry to sound so negative. I think there are many positive things about the picture. You were sensitive enough to realize that this was a fine subject. Not always easy to do. The picture also has excellent tonality. The uneven development and dust are both more technical problems. You seem to have a good eye. Link to comment
