Improvements pls.

In my honest and humble opinion, this image is perfectly composed and enhanced by beautiful tones and a wonderful child. However, it is slightly 'let down' by its sharpness. This aside, I still think that this was a good effort.

I let the shutter drop to 1/100th which is too slow for children really. I like to shoot moving children around 1/250 so I agree with the softness issue.

Ya know Ger, I don't have aproblem with the softness of this photo, I think it is fitting to the look and the pose.

 

Maybe it's my monitor, but her eyes seem REALLY bright... was the white brightened in PS?

The eyes might have been don't remember for sure but if I did it would only be slightly, hope its your monitor cause it looks normal to me. If its not well, then I have a problem.
