I'm curious how others view this photo, and the style I shot it.

Very strong image to me... but somehow I cannot 'connect' with the subject on an emotional level... maybe cropping it tighter to a square format?!?! nice tones

Great Photo! There is an interesting conflict, I can not connect to the subject because he is not looking at the camera. However, his eyes are powerful the way it is. In anycase job well done.

this is way better than the pow a few weeks back that was of a homeless man. nice exposure and framing too, the haunting stare I think makes it tho, especially having the eyes in the middle of the frame.

The detail in his face is absolutely amazing. In a strange way this looks more like a sketch or painting than it does a photograph. Perfectly in focus and great depth of field. This one's definitely a winner!
