Skate to Sun

Yesterday's photo in Skate park in Zagreb, Croatia. To many distracting details in background to shoot (buildings, trees), so I did try this photo, low angle with clear sky in background, in to the sun.
Time of day, around 19.00 hours.

Raw shooter work:
- Exposure compenstation: - 0.20
- Shadow contrast: + 30
- Highlight contrast: -10

Photoshop work:
- did remove dust from the sky
- did remove some street lamp, little part under the skate
- resize and frame

Great shot, I like the dark silhouette with how you can just get to see the edge of detail on their sides facing the sun. The only small issue I have with the photo is your eyes are drawn to black since the foreground is silhouetted, this ends up leading your eye off the photo becasue of the amount of black in the top left...I am thinking maybe a little tighter cropping might solve that prob if it was cropped almost square most that black on the top left vanishes. scroll the picture down so his hand is about a 1/2 inch from the top of the screen you may see what I'm saying. But technicalities aside.....great capture.

Really cool pic. I really like how his hand drifts into the dark. The highlights on the sides of the people really make the pic. I have one that is very similar to this.
