I think it's a great image, too. For a sensual body, it also has a lot of geometry. It's expressive, well composed, and a compelling photo.

Great composition! realy love it, just try to upload a smaller version because its to big and i cant see the whole photo and enjoy it :) , a little of retouching wouldnt harm either.

I don't get it either. Are you saying it's an odd composition? Are you saying that the lower half would be an interesting abstract? I like the shot Michael. I might suggest smoothing her skin just slightly though. Although it does have an intersting appeal this way as well. -Anthony

Great portrait. And composition. I think the reality of the skin is a key part of the impact of the image.

I think I see both points of view. From the chin down, it makes a great abstract; but from the chin up, the eyes are compelling. Put together, I think it's more powerful; I keep coming back to this one.

 

By the way, I like the texture of the skin. Too many people seem to like to turn their models into latex (not that that's what Anthony is suggesting).
