jayesh 0 Posted May 19, 2002 How did you make this photo? It looks great to me. Good work Link to comment
darrenmambo 0 Posted May 20, 2002 I like the blur but I've never liked the zoom effect. However, you gave me an idea: photograph model at 2/3 exposure, remove model, defocus lens, double expose at 1/3 exposure so model is focussed and everything else isn't... Unfortunatly, I don't have one of those tunnels nearby... Dang. Link to comment
kev 0 Posted May 20, 2002 I like your effect. Looking at it makes me feels like it is moving. Like she is strolling through time. Nice image. Link to comment
mfshadow 0 Posted June 5, 2002 Almost too much radial blur in PS. Slightly nauseating. Link to comment
yves_jalbert 0 Posted June 9, 2002 Jayesh, to answer your question, such a picture is usually done (unless altered in Photoshop) by zooming in or out while you press on the shutter to take the picture. The best way to do this is to make sure that your camera is steady on a tripod (suggestion but not necessary) and you start zooming out just before pressing the camera shutter (and you continue to do so until the exposure is taken). If you're set to 1/100 for example, then the faster you zoom out (careful you don't want to break your zoom here, be gentle) the more of the effect you'll record on film. Link to comment
