kjell_o._heggestad 0 Posted May 19, 2002 This is from a slow local train in the countryside in Thailand. I did not hide the fact that I took pictures, as you can see the boy was curiously watching me as put the camera on my knee for a lower perspective and took the picture without looking through the viewfinder. Your rating/opinion of this picture is welcome. Link to comment
babatunde martins 0 Posted May 19, 2002 The expression of the boy in the photo makes this photo. I like how you have lined up the chair lines and cut the two people in half. Great job! Link to comment
ed_berman6 0 Posted May 21, 2002 I would crop out just the central portion of the image, the sides just distruct without contributing anything to the overall image. Link to comment
alex1 0 Posted May 23, 2002 I like the framing as is - I think the bits of people help establish that the train is a bustling place. Link to comment
something1 0 Posted December 21, 2002 I'm on the "don't crop" team... There would be a much reduced sense of the environment with a tighter crop, not to mention that there's a wonderful visual appeal to the symmetry of the "halved people". I think this is a great shot, brilliantly judged (without looking through the viewfinder) and a perfectly captured "moment". Good Job! Link to comment
