I like it very much - it certainly tells a story and everything is in black and white - nothing hidden. He is gaunt and his neck looks as if stretched to its limit. He takes pleasure in a few wrong things - a smoke, etc - choices he makes that I probably could not understand. Hoping I have not been judgmental since that is not my intent - simply expressing what the photo has conveyed to me. Some say life is "once a man and twice a child" and I see that he also takes comfort in a teddy bear.

 

PS I might placed the man more to the left of the photo for more impact. Good work.

This is an image one can look at for quite a while. At his age, most men no longer wear decorations. Your subject has a necklace and a bracelet. But then, he still treasures a teddy bear. Maybe his grandson had come to visit and left him a present. Any further cropping is, as is everything, a matter of taste.
