amanda_king1 0 Posted April 24, 2007 This photo is totally unmanipulated. I used a polarizer filter. Please tell me what you think! Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Beautiful scene Amanda, you need to tilt the horizon about one degree clockwise. Link to comment
tgood 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Amanda, I agree with Jim about the horizon. This is very unique light house though. Is it close to your home? It would be a real interesting study. Does the light still operate? If this is close to your home I'm jelous. I'd love to see this in differnt light, different weather, and with different levels of drama. Please share if you do. I'd even consider getting in a boat. Nice find. Link to comment
amanda_king1 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Good eye guys! For someone who is as anal retentive as I am, I can't believe that I didn't catch that. Unfortunatley, I don't live nearby here. My boyfriend is originally from this area and we recently visited. I fell in love with this lighthouse, though. It's in Sturgeon Bay, WI, which is on the penisula in WI, on the Lake Michigan side. I would totally reccommend heading up that way. We drove up most of the coast there and there are many awesome lighthouses as well as cool beach areas. I keep meaning to invest in a good tripod, and haven't yet. I am sure this is a good part of why my horizon looks the way it does :( Link to comment
