markwilkins 0 Posted August 7, 2001 This photo appealed to me because I was capturing another photographer in the same spot where I had stood for one of my favorite photos. I know a few people who really like it, but I'm not sure how I feel. Anyone have any arguments one way or another? Link to comment
jennybrown 0 Posted August 7, 2001 I think one thing that decreases the power of this photo is that it's such a flat visual travel. There's no drama. If instead you could have taken it from behind him at an angle, so we either saw what he was looking at, or saw a huge open area, it might work more... It also might have worked better from where you were to have it cropped more, so he only occupied a tiny piece of image. I think mainly a different angle could have added a lot more drama. gmahler5th 0 Posted April 18, 2003 I'm not sure I enjoy the image as much as if there were less sky, and the subject was closer to you. Although I love the blue sky! Blue is my favorite color, and it is pleasing to look at. Link to comment
