The benches and white strip jutting in from the right, leading to the horses and people more centrally, The sloping of the hills from the left to the center, the "approaching" foreground, and the general openness of the scene make the design interesting. The whole scene seems a little too uniformly grey? I wonder is lightening the sky, especially where is is closes to the mountains, and some edge burning might help. Perhaps darkening the furthest mountain?
