Wow. Fantastic use of sky and ground in harmony, and a brave central comp that really works well.

 

If I'm going to be critical, I find the FG a little too contrasty (at least on my monitor) but I'm only pointing that out because the rest's so strong and it just detracts a little IMO. Still easily worth top marks.

Great Picture, i just feel that the movement in sky is too much, it overpowers the landscape to a point where i find it distracting. id like too see it with more movement to ghost out the clouds a bit more. or perhaps even less. i think the contrast is perfect!

Beautiful scene. I love the contrast of colors and the perspective. There is a nice feeling in this image... the movement of the clouds against the static tree, wonderful combination. It's that kind of images that I really would like to see in a big print. Congratulations Paulian.

I think you shouldn't had altered the sky... Efectul in loc sa fie accentuat, este diminuat. Din doua motive probabil: nu exista contrast intre static/calm si dinamic; si pentru ca manipularea este mult prea evidenta - da senzatia de fals.

Insa te felicit pentru compozitie, lumina si culori. Sunt fantastice.

Darius, thank you for the comment, but you are wrong. The sky isn't altered.

That is even creative..not to have altered the sky. The windblown clouds making this pattern very similar to the converging lines below, creating the on exposure-zoom like effect. I have to give originality to 7 and I could give the aesthetic to 7 as the tree is coming right from the center where both lines on ground and the clouds converge. But I agree to an earlier comment, the picture is not soothing or very attractive to me, the foreground is contrasty and the long exposure effect in the sky causing the dark unevenness in the sky and therefore the sky and foreground don't match very well. No matter what I totally admire what you have produced and have to give you 6-7 (A-O).

 

Oh, that was a silly mistake from my part... So this is a long exposure? Unbelievable!
