Laura in the Doorway

Laura shows off her beautiful physique in this photo from the

Phoenix Supershoots workshop.

Nice composition and technically a good shot. Though in my opinion her pose looks a little stiff, a little too "posed" if you understand what I mean. It's a good portrait but it could have been a bit more casual. Just my opinion.

The lighting on the model is nice and soft, but yes... she looks too stiff and also I think she doesn't stand out enough from the background, which I keep looking at. Not to pick, I am only trying to be helpful.

Thank you for your comments. I agree that a little depth of field blur would probably help separate Laura from the background. And this was definately a posed shot, so I can see how you would pick up on that. I think some of the other poses that we tried out in this doorway turned out more natural, but what strikes me about this particular photo is how lovely the model's form looks.
