denise_duhamel 0 Posted May 15, 2002 A view of Bridal Falls, Yosemite National Park. Fuji Reala rated at 80. It was a bit of a challenge to get this shot without getting soaked in the process! No manipulation or color enhancement of any kind. Just a straight scan from a print. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted May 15, 2002 There is even a hint of the second rainbow. I do not understand where you stood to not get drenched and yet have the buildings in the foreground so small. Link to comment
denise_duhamel 0 Posted May 15, 2002 Thanks Margaret for your comments. Those are not buildings in the foreground. They are rocks - boulders. They do look like buildings now that you mention it ... This was a classic straight on shot taken from the trail to the base of Bridalveil Falls. I was completely drenched from the spray, and had all I could do to protect the camera from getting wet. It was worth it though! I'm so glad you noticed the subtle second rainbow. It is just a hint, but it is definitely there. Shot was taken at about 6:10 pm. Link to comment
chachi_arcola 0 Posted May 30, 2002 I believe this is called Bridalveil Falls. It disturbs me that the waterfall seems to be flowing sideways because the horizonline is quite crooked. Link to comment
