somewhere over the rainbow

80. It was a bit of a challenge to get this shot without getting

soaked in the process! No manipulation or color enhancement of any

kind. Just a straight scan from a print.

There is even a hint of the second rainbow. I do not understand where you stood to not get drenched and yet have the buildings in the foreground so small.

Thanks Margaret for your comments. Those are not buildings in the foreground. They are rocks - boulders. They do look like buildings now that you mention it ... This was a classic straight on shot taken from the trail to the base of Bridalveil Falls. I was completely drenched from the spray, and had all I could do to protect the camera from getting wet. It was worth it though! I'm so glad you noticed the subtle second rainbow. It is just a hint, but it is definitely there. Shot was taken at about 6:10 pm.

I believe this is called Bridalveil Falls. It disturbs me that the waterfall seems to be flowing sideways because the horizonline is quite crooked.
