n_myers 0 Posted April 16, 2007 This image is better than the last one that I critiqued. The jeans stand out as the star of the image. You might consider an action pose next time. The backdrop looks like a barn door. If she were opening, or pretending to open, the door, she wouldn't look as though someone was about to throw knives at her. Link to comment
kcorbett 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Are the jeans the focus? If the jeans are the the phot would be cropped for only the jeans than the shot works to show off the jeans. However, if the shot is going to contain the models face and expression to help sell the jeans than what mood is the model portraying? The body stance is telling me one thing, the lips another and her eyes something else. Remember that shots in magazines and ads today are going for the posed - but not looking posed - but looking in action - shot. (smile) Work with the model a bit more. The more she works the more comfortable she'll become. And, if you're shooting digital than you don't have to worry about how many frames you are shooting. (smile) Link to comment
