The dogs have expressions that can only be read as "lets go". From many years in the field have seen it many times in dogs and sons. Spectacular image Matt. I spent an hour the other evening browsing your portfolio and was awed by the field shots. Fun shots, the "Britteny" and the grouse, wow.

Matt I just came across your picture while searching the web for pics of Weimaraners. This photo is beautiful! I own a female Weim and I love photographing her.

Lol, isnt this the truth! When our Britney sees, my husband in his hunting clothes and the gun in his hand, he knows exactly where he is going. Great photograph!

I'd say it was worth the effort....thanks for showing us your set-up efforts. This is a fantastic shot of 2 beautiful animals! I think the triangle of white in the LL competes a little, but I still love this!

Beautiful image. I loved how you told us how you did it. The pictures are great. I tried taking a Christmas photo with my two boys and three dogs so I had to laugh because it was quite an ordeal! Great job, your photos are excellent.

It's a beautiful shot and really great composition. I have to admit though that I find the background too sterile for the shot. This shot would have rocked on an old wooden porch or draping the upland gear over a tree stump outdoors, the dogs on a bed of leaves. A very nice study, but a different background would have made a masterpiece to frame in a privileged spot in the house. (or as a great ad for ....) Look forward to seeing more.

Matt,

Why have I never left my thoughts on this image. It is of great quality, well lit and really well prepared.

I am looking forward to getting back to some studio lighting myself, I hope to create some images of this quality.

Cheers,

Jay

This is beautiful beyond words! Thanks for writing about the work that is involved in working with two dogs. I applaud you. 7/7. Here is a failed attempt to photograph my two dogs in the studio together (I am a beginner).
