hekate 0 Posted April 15, 2007 have you heard of the expression "do not throw your pearls to the pigs" ? This is how I feel (like having thrown pearls to the pigs) when I see the anonymous 3/3 ratings on my picture (you can draw your own conclusions). Thanks for rating my work anyway (but you should really, I mean REALLY get a life). I'd be more interested in advice and comments that I could learn from. or in which people would tell me what the image makes them think of.. thank you. Link to comment
mind warp 0 Posted April 15, 2007 Very well said. I have got to where I rarely ask for a rating and just ask for a critique. Link to comment
nichroe 0 Posted April 15, 2007 Dear Hekate Hek, be humble, concentrate your efforts on your creations, you have such a marvellous talent, don`t use your time and efforts on bad karma, in the very end,,,,we are all pixs,,one way or the other ;) niels Link to comment

alberto_quintal 2 Posted April 17, 2007 Great work,Hekate, and great words for the 3/3, I have a lot of that,I don`t know if it is for default, but any way it is something wrong in this site. Best regards. Alberto Link to comment
vidisorin 0 Posted April 19, 2007 Three different sides of one's personality...the primary ..showed one...the secondary...that tries to get in front ..and the unrevealed..."secret" one...and I can think of so many other meanings that this picture is able to evoke..... I would appreciate your feedback on my photos... Thank you Link to comment

hekate 0 Posted April 24, 2007 yes, the joker interpretation is great, the fool, perfect for entertainment... the highest-ranking card...desired and feared, it brings such confusion..and you can use it to replace any other card. in fact, the deep nature of the joker seems very tragic to me. but the joker is great.. but here I wanted to show candor and tenderness. and the seriousness of the "joker"..that nobody paid attention to. sabina dorneanu 0 Posted April 30, 2007 three becoming one at moments and disolving again into three when the time calls for it... i know the feeling and i wish it wouldn't be necessary, but it is, unfortunately. and then again, it can be fun or at least wise. regards,s. Link to comment
hekate 0 Posted May 1, 2007 thank you so much for your nice and detailed interpretation ;) Well, this dissolving into three or more instances can be very well a social strategy, a postmodern need for complexity, a playful behavior or all these at once. thanks again, I am reading your comments with great interest, you seem to have a trained eye for deconstructing the meaning of an image. Cheers, Cristina Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted May 13, 2007 Oh Cristina, I really love this one!!!! Your eyes are like turkoois swimmingpools in the Caribean, haha. You get drowned only looking at them..... Marvelous! I totally dig your statement. I it really nasty when you look at all your efforts and someone slashed it with 3/3. Yeeaak. But what can you do about it? There are numerous of forumtopics about it. The only way is when you ask for only critiques.... It is a shame don't you think? The image is really fantastic and made me smile, thank you so much! Greetz Link to comment
hekate 0 Posted May 13, 2007 Thanks for the comment;) Caribbean, huh ? :))) I'm blushing..LOL :D well, I am getting used to the idea (the 3/3 ratings) :D I'm glad the image made you smile;) have a great day! :) Cris Link to comment
jesperbo 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Very beautiful image! To me it's cold and warm at the same time; cold because of the iced hair and skin, warm because of the look in your eyes. Link to comment
