Engagement

A picture from my first engagement session. I wonder if the brick

should all be sharp and in focus, or blurred a bit to make the couple

stand out? Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

I'd go for the blurring option. In fact, even go as far as choose a different location altogether cuz its a bit of an eyesore. It doesn't really act as a suitable background for the theme here. Alternatively, how about black & white?

I was contemplating black and white too. Good idea. This couple just loved the urban metro look so that's what I was going for. I think black and white would be good. Thanks!

I might have her look at him instead of the camera. or have them touch faces = her right side touching his left side and both looking at the camera.

 

I don't have much experience with these kind of shots so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.
