Brazilian Flag In A Romanian Forest

Why I do not like this picture: a lot of background (too much ?) which adds nothing to the image; deep shadow in the RH lower corner sort of hints at the diamond-shaped field in the Brazilian flag - but the connection is way too loose to be meaningful; lack of sharpness in the top portion of the image; while some people may like blown highlight - I do not.

I did have a look at your portfolio: it is nice, you use light well, you compose your images with care, and generally most of the images in your portfolio are interesting one way or another: this image is a 3/3 from me (hope there are no hard feelings - I could hide my rating by remaining anonymous).

Leszek, I have no reasons to be angered with your comment because I don't think this is a very good photo! Not at all! I requested the critique on it because I wanted to know what is wrong on it!

I put that title because of green and yellow...this is the single reason I had! The right corner is too dark because the shadow of a tree (the photo was taken in a forest...you can see the title) was unfortunately there!"Bad luck Veronica...Bad!"I said...and I shoot the subject! Bad choise! :)

I know (again)the flower is not ok...the sun was shining "too hard" and I'm just an amateur! What can I do?! I can learn! Isn't it? I'll do it but I'll never be a professional photographer! This is not my dream! :))
