This work reminds me A LOT the excellent movie Trainspotting (by Danny Boyle, 1996). Maybe a bit of unsharp mask would be ok, since it all seems a bit blurry. Or maybe a focus on the fingers or the ring would have been better.

 

Nice idea and nice picture anyway :)
