Satvinderji, whenever we look at poverty, sufferings of our fellow human beings and consequences of war and other destructions we somehow feel, even if for the slightest, fleeting instant, a moment of pity, a moment of pain. This slightest touch of emotion is the humanity inside us. This had always existed even in the darkest pages of history of human civilizations. The diagonal represents a time line wheras the white circles represent our pure being. The hands just assure that it (humanity) was there always as it is now. The humanity is just waiting for us to unravel itself.
