Reflections 1 - stacked chairs

Another almost shocking image. Here it's the pattern rather than the color - lines slanting diagonally across punctuated by drops of red. Not surprised you're not getting comments. People don't want to take to take the time to think about an image. Well done!

I really appreciate your kindness in actually stopping to comment and the observation on why I wasn't getting comments. Actually it *was* beginning to concern me. "what the hell guys, don't you find this as fascinating as I do?" Not thinking about an image is so alien to me, I am just in some other space. Well, assuming folks want to be in my space is perhaps where the trouble starts. No assuming, best bet. And no shutting down, either.

 

I do a lot of pictures on what seems like gut feel even to me, but isn't. I am newbie to some of the technology but even so, I know I am semi-consciously or consciously processing a number of things at many levels at the same time - lines, shapes, colours, texture, pattern, echoes (one of the previous things echoed in another in the shot), composition, colour contrasts etc (like the blue & orange) and so forth. So having someone stop long enough to comment in response to the outputs of that effort, is a great thing, thank you.
