michael2 0 Posted May 13, 2002 This was taken at Universal Studios Orlando, how is the composition? Link to comment
chris 0 Posted May 13, 2002 The main thing that bothers me about it is the dinosaur's horn tends to be lost against the background of the rocks. The head completely in front of the green foliage would have made for a better shot. Also, I think a little less empty space above the head would have helped. Link to comment
chad_miller 0 Posted May 13, 2002 Bah! That rock looks so fake! IMO, the composition is pretty good, aside from the fact that the body of the critter and the water meet just out-of-frame. Link to comment
chuck 0 Posted May 14, 2002 The purpose of this type of shot is create the impression that you are looking at a living thing. The sudden cut off of the body leave no real visual evidence that the dinosaur is actually in the environoment, and not merely a rubber puppet being held up in front of a picture of the envirnomant. michael2 0 Posted May 14, 2002 I have tried to address the above comments in the attached photo, do the changes enhance or detract from the original? Link to comment
chad_miller 0 Posted May 14, 2002 The above update is better composition. Now, however, the manipulation is noticable around the horn. Link to comment
chris 0 Posted May 14, 2002 The altered image is better. It'll never be a great shot, no matter what you do to it in photoshop, but the changes you've made definately help it. Link to comment
