Im a big fan of the long exposures and this is a great shot. Very clear, very well lit the sense of motion just pops out at you. WHat I like about it as well is the space around the ride. You get the sense it is in a large venue, not very crowded etc...

 

I was playing with some long exposures as well this summer at the Jersey shore and a local town fair. If you have time take a look at this..

 

My pics dont have the same open feel as yours, some have the ghosts of people milling about and I like the energy it adds to the photo but this image has the energy w/o the people milling about

Very nice Ken! Near perfect exposure.

Nice shot and very colorful. These carnival rides with all their colors really make awesome night shots. When Sam and I were in Del Rio he took a few of these carnival shots. Anyway, I wanted to say that I always appreciate any comments and I also want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and successful New Year.
