Thanks, he's made a regular habit now that spring is here of sitting on top of that shrub in the morning and singing away. Duplicated this shot this morning, he made me smile.

Well done MF. For me, it seems to lack dynamic contrast and saturation. Everything in the photo is bias to mid-tone?

Thanks Dave, this one is pretty much straight out of the camera, the bird was in direct am light so the only PP I did was the crop ( which got quite a few suggestions in the other community, so was relieved I had struggled with it myself)and a few spots healed in the background and on the bush. Given the predominace of browns in it adding to the saturation didn't do much for it.
