squirrelman 0 Posted April 6, 2007 It's not often you get close enough to one of these guys in the wild, although I only had a fraction of a second to compose as this guy landed right next to me without realizing I was there, and then spotted me. I was actually trying to shoot a golden crowned kinglet at the time. Link to comment

hani1 0 Posted April 6, 2007 I love this picture,and i have a story with it, that was a month ago, i was in a big cathedral in washington, and outside i heard the amazing sound of this red beautiful bird,coming from a big tree i fixed my Camera, i had a Nikon wz a 80-200 mm, and focused in a hurry dreaming how this shot will apear, dreaming if it deserve 7/7 or not, and as i finished that bird escaped and broke my dreams,and i gave up coz its rare to see it there,and now u come with this, congradulations that u could have this photo, i know its hard, and i know that its a long comment, but such a beautiful photo deserves this.
