james_p 0 Posted May 22, 2002 Nice shot, love compositions like this and the patterns. My only question would be whether you have a shot with the whole of the top circle in frame? Link to comment
michael_fenton 0 Posted May 24, 2002 Great work! I really like the theme of circles and spheres. It might be a little better shot if you had another inch on the top... Link to comment
bpm1 0 Posted July 3, 2002 good eye...nice shot, designer must have had Saturn in mind. I think certain photos may warrant a title & others don't, you be the judge Link to comment
gib 0 Posted July 27, 2002 great shot.....as for the camera, big smile on my face, I still have one of those guys and it needs a part or two, was a great camera to use. Link to comment
jfnahas 1 Posted January 27, 2003 Please give me your feedback on this shot, what do you think about it? What can I do to improve it? Thank you very much for your ratings and comments. Link to comment
niranjn 0 Posted January 27, 2003 Nice shot. I like that the lines in the little sphere are repeated in the dome. The composition is good, however, I would have preferred exact symmetry. You need to cut off a smidgen on the right. I also wish you had included a little bit more on the top. But all in all, an excellent "roof" abstract. Thanks for sharing. -Niranjan. Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted January 27, 2003 What about this Idea. A full top circle or even only 2/3 might be better in the angle idea. Link to comment
georg_lambertz 0 Posted January 27, 2003 A nice shot with interesting colours and a good composition, although in my view, an exact symmetry would be even better. Regards, Georg Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 28, 2003 Moi, je vote pour la symètrie... et j'accompagne un petit exemple. Que est ce que t'en pense? Link to comment
posie_jardine 0 Posted January 28, 2003 Composition is great! As is originally. Seems you have an eye for the extraordinary. Link to comment
matt_l.1 0 Posted January 28, 2003 Great shot- love the colors in the ceiling, plus the hanging saturn. Only scruples would be the slight lack of sharpness (the scan?) and no symmetry. Link to comment
rsb 0 Posted January 28, 2003 I do like the photo, but I am ot sure about the colors. I feel like it should be white. What color is it really? Also, I would give up on Kodak Gold especially ISO 200. If you are going to pay top dollar for the local drug store's best, why not go on down to B&H and pick up some professional film for the same price. Unfortunately, I do not have a recommendation for color negative film only for slide film... for architecture--Provia. Link to comment
justin low 0 Posted January 28, 2003 It's a nice shot. Perhaps it could be nicer in black and white, maybe with a yellow or red filter to enhance the contrast? Link to comment
bootman 0 Posted January 28, 2003 I really like this shot. The harmony of the patterns is well captured. I do like the other version that is photograped at a slanted angle a little better. Link to comment
michal_vallo 0 Posted January 28, 2003 I do not see anything wrong with it. I dont know the place so I have no idea about technical difficulties. Nice shot. Michal Link to comment
cal_manson 0 Posted January 28, 2003 Snazzy : )I would have tried to get the entire top circle in the frame , but tis all good nevertheless! Link to comment
nimesh_patel 0 Posted January 29, 2003 Great shot, Jean-Francois. I agree with the previous comments about the above circle's clipping- wish it was complete but yet it is not too distracting. I find the picture quite hypnotic. Link to comment
kenneth_koh 0 Posted January 29, 2003 To see the interesting in a place where many others have simply glanced at is a skill that can't be taught. This photo illustrates this (as do many of the other excellent photos in your folder). Link to comment
maryam_motamedi 0 Posted January 31, 2003 Beautiful shot.Great lighting, nice colors and composition. I'm not an expert but if i were you ,i'd either add another inch to the top or crop it as Alverto Conde did.Great job! Link to comment
joseph_vigliotta1 0 Posted January 31, 2003 superb composition, and a keen eye on your part. Well lit and detailed as well. But as already said several times, cropped a tad tight on the top. Link to comment
cherniak 0 Posted February 4, 2003 I like this picture. I would have cropped it so that there was almost a straight line across the top of the dome. It is an interesting composition. Link to comment
