jay_patel 0 Posted April 3, 2007 After a brief brilliant green display in the short California winter the moss on Pebble Beach turns bright white as summer approaches. The patterns created by this white moss on the dark rocks surrounding an oval tide pool caught my attention on this trip. As the clouds start to put on a show of their own, I used a ND 0.9 Hard Grad filter mounted on a wide angle lens capture this photograph. Website: www.timecatcher.com Link to comment

younes 0 Posted April 3, 2007 You have once again managed to create a piece for the ages! Great usage of the foreground the oval pool, the green and white moss are perfect anchors leading your eye into the picture. Superb colours (sky and foreground). I really admire your work and would love to have you take a look at my gallery (don't be afraid to be rude :-), I was always taught that if you want to be the best, you should learn from the best!). carsten_ranke 0 Posted April 4, 2007 High-quality landscape, I love the textures and patterns in the foreground, and the colors. Well composed and exposed, great DOF and detail. No nits from me. Hats off ! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted April 4, 2007 Though I love both images, my favorite is thisone, Jay, for the close up on thepool, the awesome reflections, the light in general. ( not to name the visible white moss). Link to comment
arnabbanerjee 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Great color and location, but in my view, you had all the elements in this photo, but they really have not come together in a harmony Link to comment
