Superb shot. Excellent.

Nice mixture of colors, light and textures. I can almost feel the coolness of the rocks against my cheek. Lovely image.

Great use of muted color against the nearly monochromatic sea. Excellent capture.

Jeff, a stunning shot. It has so much, all conveyed with great composition,lighting.color,and clarity. I love the mood the image conveys. I lived in Maine for five years and this brings back memories. Denise

Jeff, love the composition in this lovely scene and its has great sky, my only comment would be the PS work has left a join between the forground and background. Maybe if you have 2 images you could try combining them using HDR I've been using Photomaitx with some sucess.

Stunning shot - looks like a painting. Congrats. Just today, reading Natl. Geo Traveller, They declared that Acadia national park was the number one "driving' park in North America. Since this area has always been on my list, it now has me making plans to spend a week-end late in October this year doing some photography.

I'm jealous. Can't wait to see the photos!

This one is beautiful.Very dramatic lighting in the sky gives this scene some tension. The rock face strengthens the lighthouse,giving it the resolve to overcome mother natures breath. The sunlight gives us hope. Very good perspective also.

What a wonderful landscape! An impeccable composition in magic light. its atmosphere and setting remind me of an old movie. I can't remember its title but it was about an old lady who lived by the sea in the memory of a beloved sailor. It was a great and famous Hollywood movie from the 40s. Had it been a color movie, I think it would have looked like that magic picture you made.

When I selected the thumbnail of this image from your portfolio I already knew it would have many high rating on it and some nice comments. I really is a great image and I particularly like how the background fades off to gray. Nice shot!
