Nice idea, but I think the top quarter of the frame is not needed. I like the way you recorded the form and textures.

Nice light and tonality. I think it wants cropping at top or bottom, or both. I would be tempted to crop the bottom quarter of the image, and remove the splashes of light color in the dark region at the top. There's a great form in this image waiting to be liberated.

I like the image in its vertical format; cropping would corrupt that; I would probably take the light detail in the top and top left and just burn it black to preserve the height and width, which suits the subject. I also like the detail in the stone in the foreground and would hate to see it cropped away because the texture is important to the image. An excellent photo, very evocative and mysterious.

Thank you all for your comments. I do think that I should crop the top portion slightly as to remove the upper left corner where the trees are. That corner is kind of distracting. Your comments have been very helpful!
